Whether perceived metaphorically or actually, if there is a dark side of energy & intent then perhaps there is a field of negative & deceptive consciousness. The-Ouija-portal is something less physical & more metaphysical. Over the years there have been several accounts of encounters with dangerous-entities.
Its not all dark, but one has to be aware & cautious.

The KEEP is a dark & fascinating monster movie. The movie depicts how a monstrous force of energy gradually becomes an evil physical form. A benevolent humanoid being is eventually summoned to literally put the monster back into its place of confinement.
