This isn't simply CGI or a case of time travel. Like various cars off an assembly line, human DNA patterns are from a wide genetic template of possibilities. Sometimes over decades & centuries, some people will bare a striking likeness to someone else.

Its really freaky when you are in the same point in time & space & notice someone that looks just like you. However, they might also look like you a decade older or younger.
Although CGI can mess things up, there are paintings & old photographs that do seem to capture the DNA likeness of someone more modern.

The biggest implication of time travel is that one is able to move forward & backward within an interactive cosmic recording & projection of space & time.
Thus, its imperative that most people don't think of such implications. Otherwise, more & more people will start to question the nature of reality, space & time.
